This is T-series. With its music videos, movie clips and various entertainment and culture elements, the Indian channel is the most watched YouTube channel in the world week after week after week. In our last count, the T-Series received 825.2 million weekly viewswhich allowed him to retain the number one spot in our Global Top 50. In total, the popular hub landed more than 182 billion lifetime views on Youtube.

Another Indian channel, SET India, trailed just behind T-Series for the second week in a row. The Sony-owned channel, known for its library of TV-style content, got 638.8 million weekly views during the third week of January, which allowed him to maintain second place in our Global Top 50. Among the channels in the Global Top 50 this week, SET India is third in terms of lifetime views and lifetime subscribers.

So which channel ranks second in these two metrics? It would be Cocomelon – nursery rhymes. The American channel, renowned for its content aimed at young viewers, is undoubtedly the most watched channel based in the United States. In our latest ranking, Cocomelon ranked third in the world in terms of seven-day viewership, thanks to its 588.6 million weekly views.

This week, if you combine the viewership gained by the two major Sony-owned South Asian YouTube channels, that’s over a billion views. Besides SET India, the other member of this duo is Sony SA, which is linked to a television channel known for its comedy shows. During the third week of February, Sony SAB obtained 426.1 million weekly viewswhich propelled him to fourth place in our Global Top 50.

Fourth of last week, Diana show for children, rounds out this week’s global top five. Although it slipped one spot in the rankings, the US-based family vlog still had a big week, receiving 425.7 million weekly views.

Top Winners

If you ever feel like the content of popular children’s TV shows isn’t right for you, keep in mind that you can always create your own storylines.

On the channel Genevieve’s Playhouse – Learning Videos for Kids, this is exactly what is happening. The titular child plays with toys from popular franchises like paw patrol and Peppa Pig, and with her friends and family, she invents wholesome new stories. A video in which paw patrol characters are potty trained and learn to fight bullying in schools received more than 477 million viewsmaking it one of the most viewed videos on YouTube.

While no stranger to our Global Top 50, Genevieve’s Playhouse jumped up the rankings this week. He added 165.3 million weekly viewswhich took him from 47th place in the world to 38th place. Overall, the US-based chain claimed over 15.5 billion lifetime views.

Maybe this content is so popular because it’s so true to the spirit of YouTube. It’s children’s content with a handcrafted appeal. It’s a reminder that kids can be creative and come up with their own versions of existing IP addresses, and even if those stories don’t end up on TV, they still hold true.
